Intelenet Global Services is looking for a Level 1 Technical Support Specialist in our Fort Wayne office.

The Technical Specialist assists with all aspects of office technology and conducts troubleshooting, problem solving, installation, maintenance, back-ups, and upgrades of all technical equipment.

General Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary technical support contact for assigned Contact Center.
  • Ensure all associates have correct technical requirements to proceed in their roles.
  • Maintain and monitor the upkeep of company owned equipment ensuring a smooth and efficient operational flow.
  • Perform daily, weekly and/or monthly backups of applicable systems to ensure data reliability.
  • Maintain PC’s, software and printers per established guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of technical equipment and software.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Assist in determining current and future technical equipment needs.
  • Coordinate vendor access to equipment as needed.
  • Communicate changes and enhancements as appropriate. Train users as needed.
  • Daily Telecom maintenance of phones, headsets and backups
  • Be available for a rotating on call schedule with other Technical Specialists.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Networks and Communications systems required
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 and MS Office 2010 or newer products required
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and 2012, Active Directory, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) preferred.
  • Knowledge of at least McAfee Antivirus, Symantec Ghost, Cisco VPN is a PLUS.
  • Must be available for a rotating on call schedule with other Technical Specialists
  • Experience in supporting a remote staff is a PLUS
