Customer Service - Vehicle Qualification Specialist

Intelenet Global Services is looking for customer service minded people to join our Vehicle Qualification team in Fort Wayne!
 
The primary function of the Vehicle Qualification Specialist is to provide extraordinary customer care to client’s agents and drivers.  The role will be responsible for qualifying and updating the client’s agent sponsored equipment, ordering and distribution of necessary permits for the compliant operation of the vehicle, and electronic filing of documentation received.
 
Primary Job Duties:
  • Follow established Intelenet and client policies and procedures.
  • Assign unit numbers and qualify vehicles based on submissions received.
  • Update vehicles currently registered through client provided online system.
  • Issue permits based on differing parameters of the vehicle and the intended use.
  • Issue license plates through state provided online system and distribute.
  • Issue and distribute toll and other devices based on requests.
  • Manage work queue of incoming requests via email, phone, and fax
  • Understand and apply federal and state regulations as they pertain to each situation.
  • Perform renewal review and distribution for various required permits and license plates.
  • Perform title work on client owned vehicles.
  • Create and manage charges to client’s agents through client provided online system.
  • Initiate escalation as appropriate to ensure leadership awareness and proper training.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must be able to adapt to a changing environment 
  • Manage multiple task and prioritize based on differing situations. 
  • Have the ability to learn and understand the many varying state and federal regulations
  • Ability to easily navigate web sites and use multiple computer programs simultaneously, required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required.
  • Ability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications, required.
  • Ability to work in an often changing and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to sit continuously during work shift.
  • Able to use telephone equipment.
  • Ability to communicate in a visual and auditory manner with fellow associates and customers.
  • Able to perform repetitive or continuous activity according to set procedure.
  • Able to perform under stress when confronted with unusual situations.
  • Able to perform within demands of precise attainment of set limits, tolerances or standards.
  • Able to follow specific instructions and perform without room for independent action or judgment.
  • Able to make generalizations, judgments or decisions based on subjective or objective criteria.
  • Familiarity with common business productivity software suites.
